Annett Gröschner, born 1964 in Magdeburg, is an author and journalist. She has lived in Berlin since 1983 and since the mid-1980s has taken a keen and highly diverse interest in the city. She has published poetry, prose, documentary literature, radio features, and plays for the theater. Since 1992 she has been collaborating with photographer Arwed Messmer.
