Arthur Conan Doyle gave the world Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, who have become the most popular characters in world literature. The works about the great detective have been translated into almost all languages of the world, including the Eskimo. In the 60s of the last century, Conan Doyle’s writings were second in the world in terms of sales, second only to the Bible.
