Jordi Nopca is a Catalan journalist, writer and translator, and the current editor of Ara newspaper, including its literary supplement – Llegim. Born in Barcelona in 1983, Nopca studied Journalism and Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature. Since 2006 he has published articles for Mondosonoro, Benzina, Sortim, Què fem?, Go Mag and Time Out Barcelona. In 2012 he published his first novel, El talent. In 2013, he received the II Memorial Pere Rodeja award, granted by the Gremi de Llibreters. In 2014, he received the Premi Documenta for his first collection of stories – Puja a casa (Come Home), published the same year.
