Selva Almada is an Argentinian poet and writer. She was born in 1973 in Entre Ríos. She has published one poetry book, two novels, and three short story collections. Almada is considered one of the leading Argentinian authors in her generation, using a poignant, minimalistic language. She depicts the rural life of inland Argentina. Almada has been living in Buenos Aires for the past fifteen years, where she holds writing and reading workshops.
