An Egyptian writer and short story author. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature (2000) and another in Law (2009), both from Mansoura University. His literary repertoire includes several acclaimed short story collections for both adults and children, such as Asphalt Plants, The Six Tales of Rayhana, and Adam and the Six Tales. He is also the author of the novel In the Presence of the Long Street, which was awarded the Insan Center Prize for the Novel.
Tharwat’s works have been published in a variety of prominent newspapers and cultural magazines. Over the years, he has garnered numerous literary awards in short fiction and children’s literature, recognized for his narrative voice that blends emotional depth with imaginative storytelling.
