Miaad Banki is a Tehran-based writer, literary translator, and academic holding a PhD in English Literature. Specializing in transgressive and socially conscious literature, he is the Persian translator for avant-garde authors such as Ariana Harwicz, Fernanda Trías, and Brenda Navarro. His original writing and interviews have appeared in Asymptote and Full Stop, and are forthcoming in Latin American Literature Today.
