Marina Perezagua was born in Seville, Spain in 1978. She graduated in Art History from the University of Seville. She obtained her Ph.D. in philology in the United States and later taught language, literature, history, and Latin American cinema at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Later she worked for two years at the Cervantes Institute in Lyon. Today she lives in New York City and teaches at the NYU master’s program in creative writing in Spanish.
