Sarah Khan won her first publication as a 12-year-old child in an anthology of the ZDF holiday program. As a student she shot Super 8 films, wrote for fanzines, city magazines and newspapers, mainly about films, comics, pop culture. In 1999, her first novel appeared. Since then numerous publications followed, other novels, ghost reports, essays. In 2012, Sarah Khan received the first ever Michael Althen Award for criticism from FAZ.
